MEETING WITH CEO MOWASALAT
On 4th September 2023 H.E Amb. Boniface N. Mwilu, Kenya’s Ambassador to the State of Qatar met with Mr. Farad Saad Al -Qahtani, CEO Mowasalat at the Company’s Headquarters to discuss the excellent relations between the Company and Kenya which has seen them employ about 1,730 Kenyans.
Mowasalat (Karwa) is an end-to-end transport solution provider, founded in 2004, Mowasalat has become the premier transportation service provider in Qatar with currently over 7000.
The Ambassador thanked Mowasalat for granting Kenyans job opportunities in their Company and the assistance they have always accorded to Kenyans, e.g. during the last General Elections in August 2022 and during the Huduma number drive in 2018/2019 by offering transportation to the centres for the exercises.
The CEO underlined that Kenyans are hardworking and this has earned them promotions and are among the top in the best employees’ program. He further informed that during the World cup programme the Company had employed about 14 000 people on short term contracts. He said that the Company had invested on training them and are now re-employing them back when vacancies arose.
The two vowed to work together to improve the excellent relations.
