SIGNING OF THE EXPO 2023 CONTRACT
On 4th October, 2023, Hon. Mithika Linturi, Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development met with H.E. Bader Omar Ismail Al Dafa, Commissioner General, EXPO, 2023 and the Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Climate Change and Sustainability.
The CS witnessed the signing of the Country participation contract and appointment of the Kenya Ambassador as the Commissioner General (CG) for Kenya.
Kenya’s participation at the event is vital as it will help promote business relations in Qatar and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Countries in the fields of agriculture, innovation, academics, and investments. It will also help to show case Kenya’s tourist attractions, agricultural products and investment projects among others in the Middle East market.
